Community Service
Getting involved in the community creates a sense of belonging and connection. Serving others enhances our lives, cultivates relationships, and promotes personal development. By collaborating with around us, we can drive positive change and reinforce community ties. Together, we create a significant impact.
PACS Community Food Drive
We are proud to share that we collected an impressive 695 pounds of nonperishable items for PACS (Phoenixville Area Community Services). This contribution was enough to provide meals for 232 individuals in need within our community during the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who participated in this initiative and helped make a difference in the lives of those who rely on our support. Together, we are making a positive impact and ensuring that no one goes hungry.

PAHS Friendsgiving
This past Thanksgiving, we enjoyed a "Friendsgiving" event organized by PAHS clubs. The goal was to foster connections between different clubs and celebrate the diverse backgrounds and cultures within our school community.

Marty Party
The "Marty Party" was a special gathering held to celebrate one of our Assistant Principals, Marty Walls, who is was transitioning to a position within the PASD District Office. Ms. Walls was an influential part in the establishment of Ed Rising in PAHS and remains a supportive aspect of the group. This event provided an opportunity for faculty, staff, and students to express their gratitude and well wishes to Marty Walls for her valuable contributions to our school community!

Shooting Stars
We actively participate in an inclusive basketball program at the Spring Valley YMCA. This rewarding program focuses on providing opportunities for children with special needs to develop essential life skills, such as teamwork, physical activity, and the joy of playing basketball. As volunteers, we dedicate one day each month to assist with the program, guiding participants, fostering a supportive environment, and ensuring that everyone has a positive and enriching experience.

Doogwood Cleanup
In May, we volunteered at the Dogwood Festival, a century-old community tradition. We helped clean up the festival grounds, ensuring a clean and enjoyable experience for everyone.

CCIU Adaptive Tech Helpers
In January, we volunteered at an event hosted by the Chester County Intermediate Unit. Our role was to provide compassionate care and supervision for children with special needs while their parents participated in another event taking place concurrently at the technical college high school. This experience allowed parents to participate in the event without the added stress of childcare.
